Each year, over 6,000 Hoosiers are diagnosed with a life changing brain injury. Whatever the cause of the injury –motor vehicle crash, fall, stroke, brain tumor, blast injury or concussion—it changes everything. Nothing in your world is the same. What now? Who can you turn to? How will you find the resources you need? You are not alone. Since 1981, the Brain Injury Association of Indiana has provided information, resources, programs, advocacy, and support services to brain injury survivors, family members, health care professionals, and educators. We are here to help; bring hope and —and provide a voice for brain injury in Indiana. The only cure for brain injury is prevention. Until then, the Brain Injury Association of Indiana believes that no brain injury is too mild to ignore or too severe to lose hope and no one should have to face the trauma of brain injury alone.Welcome to the Brain Injury Association of Indiana
